About Us
Simply put, we are Christians. We desire to follow and live like Jesus just like the New Testament Church did in the 1st Century (Acts 11:26). Followers of Jesus in the 1st Century were part of the Church that Jesus established (Matthew 16:18). We see in the Bible that God saves us and adds us to the Church (Acts 2:47) when we hear the Word of God and believe it (Rom. 10:17), repent of our sins (Acts 17:30), confess that Jesus is Lord (Rom. 10:9-10), and are baptized for the remission of our sins (Acts 2:38).
In the New Testament, we don’t read about Protestants, Baptists, Lutherans, or any denominations. We only see the Church that Jesus established and the pattern that the Apostles left for us to follow (Acts 2:42). We try to follow the New Testament pattern in Scripture of the church as much as possible. We know that we will never attain perfection, but that the pursuit of holiness is what matters (1 Pet. 1:16).
